At the centre of the Group is Access Hardware, a proudly Australian, family-owned business founded in 1975. Over time, the business has grown steadily, expanding its capability through the considered addition of specialist brands to better support customers and evolving market needs.

Today, the Group includes Access Hardware, API Access & Security, Jacksons Security and Fentons Doors — each operating with its own expertise, heritage and customer focus, while benefiting from the strength of a connected national organisation.
As the brands within the network grew, a clear way to represent how these brands work together became increasingly important.
Access & Security Co was created in 2025 as a corporate master identity to connect the Group’s brands and make the breadth of capability easier to understand — without changing how the individual businesses operate.
